Why is Brexit so dysfunctional? Brexit proves that being a part of the European union strips
individuality and identity. Surely if a country does not want to play by the rules, they should have the option to go alone regardless of the consequences that may unfold.
With many officials referring to Brexit as a divorce, as we know a divorce can be bittersweet and the bitterness is always associated with the hidden need that one individual has for the other. Therefore, apply this same reasoning to Brexit the EU does not want to lose the comfortable way of life it has gained over centuries whilst the UK wants to go it alone in the hopes that it will still retain some of the old agreements made when it was a member of the EU. Not only does Brexit propose the concept of leaving all stakeholders with a lifetime of trauma but years full of confusion and uncertainty.
